                     Monday 22nd July

Continued past Grenoble N.N.West through Sassenage then towards Lyon and Grenoble Airport and if you ever fly there make sure you book a taxi. It's a long walk to Grenoble. Went off N.East onto road we came down on earlier in our tour, D73 as far as Virieu where we found a lovely aire to stop in for the night.

Had a wander down the Ville.

Thought you might like to know that
There are few 'French loos' still about, and if you are reading the posters keep looking ahead.

If you turn right, off the D73 in the centre of the Ville up the D17 you will find the aire.

Had a short sharp thunderstorm in the evening but didn't detract from the nice place.

                     Tuesday 23rd July
Bright and sunny. Traveled north through St.-Genix-sur-Guiers. Stopped alongside large lake for lunch.
Continued North up D10 and D992 past Belley then alongside Canal-de-Derivation-du Rhone to Seyssel where we found an Aire almost under the main bridge that you drive up to but not over on the way in. You turn left just before it drive round the bend, take first right then right again. you then drive under the same bridge and the aire is there.

On the above bridge into town.
Inside the church just over the bridge

Views through the windows
Another church back on the other side.
Local art underneath the main road bridge. Not quite Banksy
Upon our return to the aire we found it was getting quite noisy because there was a lake close by and all the locals came swimming there and seemed to park where they liked, so we drove out over the main road bridge and towards town centre and found a large car park next to the Tourist centre and stayed there for the night. Very quiet.
